🎯 Tip for Bases 🎯
Did you know that when transitioning from american chair to front plank, the base should throw just like in a straight throne? 🤔
It’s the flyer who changes position, not the base! ⚖️

🔴 COMMON MISTAKE: Changing the way you throw, thinking the base needs to adjust.
🟢 CORRECT WAY: Keep the same throwing technique—the flyer is the one who shifts position! 🙌🏼

💡 Bonus Tip: Trust your technique and coordination with your flyer for a smooth and successful trick. 💥

🔹 Spotting is a skill you need to train! 🔹

In acroyoga, the role of the spotter is just as important as the flyer or the base. When practicing tricks like Icarian games or any figure, it’s key to remember that we aren’t born knowing how to spot: it’s something you train, just like any other trick. 💙

Being a good spotter allows us to progress in the practice and build trust within the team. It’s a big responsibility, so always remember:

1️⃣ Ask if you’re unsure how to spot.
2️⃣ Be honest about your abilities.
3️⃣ Say NO if you don’t feel safe spotting a trick.

Spotting is the foundation of safety and growth in this practice. 🌟

😅 Flying standing on shins…Does it ever feel like you’re standing uphill? 🏞️

👉🏼 The key is in the balance and proper placement to avoid that extra strain.

💙 Make sure the base keeps their hands higher than their elbows to create a solid and stable platform for the flyer. That small adjustment makes all the difference! 💪🏼✨

➡️ Tip for leg position in cartwheel

🤸🏻‍♀️ Cartwheel is gonna be much nicer if the flayer keeps his legs lift vertically instead of horizontally.
