🤜If you’re working on pressing up to long arm foot 2 hand try having the flyer make a tempo jump 😬(of course use a spotter at first!)

😛This should make it easier for the base and help them feel the path

💪It’s also a good drill for the flyer to progress towards cascade or other moves where they need to jump from a f2h

Pirouette
You should have a trusted ninja spotter and lots of experience with Icarians if you want to try this! 🥷
If you can make these progressions clean, you can likely achieve the whole trick:) 💪
🌀*make sure everyone knows what direction you are turning!

1️⃣First Progression
American chair to reverse bird

•base-think of throwing straight up. For the reception grab the flyer’s feet and bring them close to your ears, try to receive the hips with soft feet, it can be painful!

•flyer-make your rotation at the highest point, rotate as one piece, shoulder and hips connected. You don’t want to change your axis, its the base who brings you to the reverse bird by bringing their arms back.

2️⃣Second Progression
Reverse bird to American chair

•base the throw it again up trying to keep the heel of the flyer in line with hips and shoulder.
Try to catch the feet as fast as you can.
•Flyer use your gaze to finish the rotation, keep the integration, be a stick, don’t go to sit down.

3️⃣Third progression
American chair straight pop with a rotation of flyers shoulders

•flyer-find the timing where lift of arms and the turn of your head come together
•base-slow steady tempo

👋We’ve got a grip tip when basing a needle in hands or flying a handstand on shoulders.

🌀Some peoples skin/fascia is more slippery than others and it’s safer and more solid if you lock that skin into place.
